If you take a look at the weather map below, you'll see why we decided to stay over a second night at John Henry's Marina. It would have been quite a rough ride had we ventured out. Locals told us that even the shrimpers were staying home. That says a lot. After a pot luck dinner and two captain's meetings to review the weather, we left the next morning for Desolation Sound, and a few boats sped ahead to pick up pastries at the bakery in Lund.
