The only time we rafted the vessels was at Butedale

We got the VIP treatment at Butedale – a deserted settlement with one long dock and some fresh water. Mark Bunzel of the Waggoner Guide has a great relationship with the owners and we were able to dock and raft the entire fleet. Again, I rested and flew my drone to take some pictures while the rest of the group ventured off for a muddy, treacherous hike to the lake/falls. This place has a lot of potential, if you have a lot of vision and patience.
