We wanted to see fireworks for the 4th of July, and what better place to do that than Petersburg where I could also re-visit La Conte Glacier with Patty and Catherine. After experiencing fireworks on the night of the 3rd and the Pburg parade on the 4th, I flew down to Seattle to collect Catherine and Roxy and bring them to Ciamar.
The next day, we bopped around the town and caught up on provisioning before heading out on the 5 hour SeekAK.com tour of LaConte Glacier. The weather was even better and the viewing even better this time than it was my first time in early June.
